Appendicitis is a disease that often strikes children and adults. This disease needs surgery or surgery to remove it. If left untreated, an inflamed Appendix will eventually burst, or punching holes and removing infectious fluid into the abdominal cavity. This can lead to peritonitis or serious inflammation in the lining of the abdominal cavity which can be fatal.
Estimated appendicitis starts during the opening of the Appendix into the booth to become obstructed. This blockage may be caused by the formation of thick mucus in the stool or on appendicitis which enters the cecum.
Mucus or stool hardens, it becomes like a rock, and blocking the holes. This Rock is called fecalith lymphatic tissue, or possibly in the appendicitis swell and obstruct the hole. After the blockage occurs, bacteria that are commonly found in the Appendix begin to multiply and attack or infect the walls of the Appendix.
The body responds to this invasion by mounting an attack on the bacteria, an attack called inflammation. If the symptoms of appendicitis are unknown and the inflammation continues, the appendix can rupture, followed by the spread of the bacteria outside of the Appendix. After the rupture, the infection can spread to all parts of the stomach, but is usually limited to a small area surrounding the cecum by the surrounding tissues.
Sometimes, the body managed to ‘ cure ‘ appendicitis without surgery or treatment if infection and swelling causes the accompanying Appendix rupture. Inflammation, pain, and other symptoms could also be lost when drinking antibiotic.
It is most common in elderly patients. Patients could then go to a doctor after appendicitis with a lump in my right lower abdomen caused by the scarring that occurs when healing. These bumps can because suspicion will be cancer.
Common symptoms of appendicitis include:
1. Nausea or vomiting after abdominal pain was started.
2. Abdominal Swelling.
3. Pain in the upper abdomen that eventually moved to the lower right abdomen.
4. Loss of appetite.
If you have any of the symptoms mentioned above, please contact medical help due to rapid diagnosis and treatment is very important. Do not consume food and drink, or use drugs such as laxatives, or heating devices, which can cause an inflamed intestine ruptured.
The Treatment of Appendicitis
Surgery or surgery to remove the appendix, called an appendectomy, is a common way of treating appendicitis for almost all cases. Generally, if appendicitis is suspected, doctors tend to be ‘safe looking’ immediately and quickly release appendicitis to avoid rupture.
If the appendix has formed an abscess, you might have two procedures: one to drain the pus and abscess fluids, and then removing the Appendix. However, there is some research to suggest that the treatment of appendicitis with antibiotics can eliminate the need for surgery in some cases.
Then, can appendicitis be prevented? Unfortunately there is no way to prevent appendicitis. However, appendicitis is rarely found in people who eat foods high in fiber, such as fresh fruit and vegetables. So don’t forget to always eat healthy to maintain your body’s health.
