First of all, you have to lower your expectations. Don't expect your first date is the ones who spend the rest of your life together. Think of it as a way to meet new people who might be your friend-or more-with.
Next, select the location of the well. Many people consider dating as dinner and a movie. But this may be too much for the first senior dating. Instead, meet coffee or lunch. It makes everything lighter. More importantly, it makes the date being short.
If you share the same interests, it makes a great first senior dating. For example, if you both enjoy art, head to the opening at the museum of art. You will find it easier to speak when you have common interests in front of you.
Avoid making a date to a place where you will be alone. Picnic by the remote tributaries can be very romantic, but it's not a good idea for a first date.
But, going to the movies, playing games, or musical event, though, is probably not a good idea as well. That's because it doesn't give you a chance to speak.
You should always arrive at your destination with a separate vehicle so you can both go if the circumstances are not comfortable. Also, let your friend or family member know where you are going and with whom you go. It is unfortunate, but lately, it's important to be safe.
After the first senior dating, you have to decide whether to see that person again. If the first date is fun and friendship looks good, certainly out again. If you are at all uncomfortable, listen to your instincts.
Don't feel you have to get out on a second date
